Todle je kytička na cestě od Diamatiny, 8 km jižně od Sao Joao da Chapada. Zajímavej taxon a v kultuře nádherný kytky s velkým vlnatým temenem a jednou skvělou vlastností. A to, že kvetou od jara do podzimu prakticky furt! Mám ovšem na mysli roubované kytky. Jestli tak pokvetou i semenáče je dlouhej lauf... Kvítek je malej a semen, když se zadaří, v plodu do 4 - 5 zrnek max, ale guuuut !!!!
This is a nice form aff. flavispina and var. inhaiensis (= HU 854 or RNK 10), 8k south of Sao Joao da Chapada. An interesting taxon and in cultivation, wonderfull plants with a large wavy crown and one great feature: that is, they bloom practically all the time from spring to autumn. I mean, of course, grafted plants. Whether seedling will bloom like this ia long run, ultrarun .. Flowers are small, and if you´re lucky, the ripe fruit contains up to 4 - 5 seeds at most, but goooood !!!

Na tento kopec sem se chtěl vypravit, lennost zvítězila. Možná tady bude nějaký ztracený objev ... Stejně jako jsme s Vaškem před lety minuli asi vo sedm kiláků sajt Uebelmannia nuda. Škoda, mohli sme bejt za hvězdy. Stars byli brazilští botanici, co se na sajt v Sempre Vivas dopravili vrtulníkem. No a Jaroušek Šniclů se tam dostal nakonec pěškobusem ! Poslední den jeho expedice, je to frája !!!
I wanted to climb on the top of this hill, but laziness won. May be there will some discovery here, not for me... Just like Vaclav an I missed about seven kilometers of site of Uebelmannia nuda, few years ago. What a shame, we could have been stars... But the stars were brasilian botanists who got the site in Sempre Vivas by helicopter. And Gerardo eventually got there on foot at the end. The last day of his expedition !!! He is amazing guy ...
Uebelmannia var. nova aff. hnilobensis, ta už je v hajzlu. Ale jak tak bývá u mrtvejch matiček, za pár let tam budou možná její děcka ..

After terrible rain, good people saved and accommodated me ( 8 reals per night). The bootle in the segnor´s hand is either Cachaca (a Brazilian rum that´s destilled once) or some cheap oil, I don´t remeber now, after almost 19 bloody years ....
