RIMACACTUS (Eriosyce) laui, the most difficult cactus on its own roots (seedlings). The biggest challenge even for the best growers !!! NEJTĚŽŠÍ NA PĚSTOVÁNÍ, NEJVĚTŠÍ VÝZVA !!!

 Už to, že na kytičku narazíte v přírodě je prý malý zázrak. A pěstování je velkej problém, především jaký to použít substrát... Je dostatečně známo na jakých sračkách tato bylinka roste, co se v okolí těží etc. Možná je to právě a ta jedna z mála výjimek, kdy bude substrát na kultivaci rozhodující. A to se vůbec ani nebavíme o zálivce. A přesazení rostlinky je z 95% tutovej kaput. Ale tak já jsem teprve začátečník, co dělá kakty teprve 50 járů... Možná za dalších pade budu dál. Tak frajeři a frajerky, co máte víru ve své schopnosti, prubněte. Je to vééééélká výzva ! Proti tomu jsou Sclerocactus, Utahia, Coryphanta alversonii, Yavia, Uebelmannia gummifera, Discocactus horstii a jiné pro nás obtížné taxony, jako pěstovat salát. Přikládám několik rostlin roubovaných, jednu prostokořenou, co to asi v 8 járech zapíchla a posledního Mohykána co tady ještě je...

To see plants in habitat is said to be a small miracle. And cultivation is big problem! First of all, what substrate to use. It is well known on what kind of crap this gem grows and what is mined in this area. May be this is exactly one on the few exceptions where the cultivation substrate is crucial. And we´re not even talking about watering yet ! And repotting a little plant is 95% quaranteed: you will kill it ... But I´m just a beginner who´s been growing cacti only for 50 years. May be in another " fifty" I´ll get better. It is a biiiiiig challenge for you !!!

I´m attaching a few grafted plants and two bare-rooted. One, bigger one, died at about 8 years old. The small (double-headed) one appr. 6 years, that´s still here.
