A poslední lokálku kytek, kterou jsme v roce 2023 se synečkem a dobrým cajzlem z Práglu (Vénou) navštívili byla:
UEBELMANNIA buiningii RNK 50 !!!
Kytky tak vzácný, že jsme s KKK napočítali jen 14 kytek. V roce 2006 jsem žil necelej tejden v polorozbořeném domečku s místním kefáčem Estanislavem (kterej "buiningii" ukázal L. Horstovi ! ). Kromě zelené RNK 55 buiningii mi ukázal všechny sajty. Na cestě k jedné z nich se smál: to je jak před třiceti lety s Horstem, jen já mám jinýho koňa a ty máš kolo... Tak tehdy jsem napočítal asi 25 kytek. Prý tady bylo bylin dycky málo. S Leopoldem Horstem, co dělal pro Wernera Uebelmanna, tehdy napočítali kolem 50 kytek. Inu, frajeři ze západní Evropy (Holanďani, Němci, Belgáni etc., to mi potvrdil Estanislao) nechtěli brát semínka, chtěli kytky, hovada. Brali prý z lokalit kolem 10 - 12 kytek... Na fotkách vidíte drátky s evidenčním štítkem kolem kytek. Jestli to lidi odradí, aby kytky nekopali a lokálku definitivně nepohřbili, budu fuckt rád. Dost na tom, že místňáci lokálkou (třetí obrázek) prohání krávy a škody taky napáchá hlodavec mocó (časem vyštrachám fotku s dírou a kytkou..).
To co sme viděli s Vaškem asi po deseti letech byl děs a hrůza ! Smutek. Opět se ukazuje, co je jasný cíl nás kaktusářů-entuziastů. Zachovat formy ve sbírkách, co víc psát... Cites úředníci to nezachrání ...
Tak čumte, páč esi ňákej z mých čtenářů na lokálku zajede, možná napočítá kytek ještě míň nebo žádnou...
Vše bylo foceno na KKK tatranku, další pics budou pravým Nikonem a Lumixem ...
And the last Uebelmannia site that we visited in 2023 with my little son and a good guy from Prague (Véna) was:

The plants are so rare that KKK and I only counted 14 pieces ... In 2006, I lived for less than a week in a half - demolished little house with a local guy Estanislao (who showed the " buiningii" to L. Horst !) Beside the green RNK 55, he showed me all the sites. On the way to one of them he laughed: "it´s like thirty years ago with Horst, only I have a different horse and you have a bike !" Back then, I counted about 25 plants. Apparently, there were always few plants here... With Leopold Horst, who worked for Werner Uebelmann, they counted around 50 plants back then. Well, the guys from Western Europe (Dutch, Germans, Belgians, etc., Estanislao confirmed this to me) didn´t want to take only seeds, they wanted the plants, the idiots! They allegedly took about 10 - 12 plants from the sites.
Once again it shows what the clear goal of us cactus enthusiasts is: to preserve the forms in collections ! What else is there to say... CITES officials won´t save it.
So check it guys, because if any of my readers drop by the site, they might count even fewer plants or none at all ..
In the photos, you can see wires with an identification tag around the plants. If it keeps people from digging up the plants and ultimately killing of the local area, I´ll be glad. It´s bad enough the local cows (third picture) roam the area, and a rodent (mocó) causes a lot of damage ...
What Vaclav and I saw after about ten years was terrifying and dreadful ! Sadness.
